Deadline – May 3, 2016
As the Cannes Film Market is set to dawn, industry veteran Mark Damon’s Foresight Unlimited has hired Talia Goldman as Executive Director of Operations and Distribution. The company also has promoted Kyle Bellinger to Executive Director of Acquisitions and Development. In their new roles, Goldman will manage operations and distribution, and Bellinger will manage acquisitions and development.
Goldman joins the company from IM Global, where she served as Director of International Sales. There, she worked on Martin Scorsese’s upcoming Silence; Collide, starring Nicholas Hoult and Felicity Jones; and Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge. Prior to joining IM Global, Goldman was at W2 Media and Lakeshore Entertainment.
Bellinger, who has been with Foresight since 2010, previously served as Development Executive. He has worked across such Foresight pics as Peter Berg’s Lone Survivor and Baltasar Kormákur 2 Guns. Bellinger began his career in development at Mandalay Pictures.
Foresight, which famously re-invigorated the Berlin Film Market with 2 Guns a few years ago, has a current slate that includes Rob Cohen’s hot 2016 Berlin seller Category 5; Michael Mailer’s Blind, starring Demi Moore and Alec Baldwin; the Neil Bogart biopic Spinning Gold with Justin Timberlake; and the $130M sci-fi epic Inversion.
