Mark Damon founded Foresight Unlimited in 2004. With a pioneering entertainment career spanning beyond 50 years, Damon is considered a world-leading authority on international film financing, distribution and marketing strategies, as well as being a successful independent producer. 

Recently, Foresight Unlimited produced and financed the Rob Reiner comedy And So It Goes starring Academy Award winners Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton, as well as two #1 films from Universal Pictures, 2 Guns starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, and Lone Survivor, an Academy-Award winning film directed by Peter Berg and starring Mark Wahlberg.

In 2015, Foresight Unlimited Television was launched aimed at developing, co-producing, financing and distributing scripted content through its international partners.

Tamara Birkemoe serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Foresight Unlimited and oversees the day-to-day operations and all creative aspects of the company. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing aquisitions, development, production, sales and distribution of all feature films. In addition, Birkemoe serves on the Board of Directors of the International Film and Television Alliance (IFTA).

Birkemoe brings more than 15 years of extensive hands on experience and knowledge of the entertainment industry and is considered one of the leading international distribution experts. Throughout her career she has shepherded numerous projects from acquisition and development through worldwide sales and distribution.

Birkemoe most recently executive produced the comedy And So It Goes, starring Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton and directed by Rob Reiner. She also executive produced 2 Guns, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg and Lone Survivor, starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Peter Berg.

She previously executive produced The Ledge, starring Charlie Hunnam and Flypaper, starring Patrick Dempsey, co-produced Beyond A Reasonable Doubt and Captivity, and was integral in the development and sales of numerous other projects including Oscar-winner Monster, starring Charlize Theron; Running Scared, starring Paul Walker; Havoc, starring Anne Hathaway and The Upside of Anger, starring Joan Allen and Kevin Costner. In addition, she was an associate producer on Lovewrecked, It’s Alive, and Universal Soldier: Regeneration.

Prior to Foresight Unlimited, Birkemoe was an executive at Media 8 Entertainment and at MDP Worldwide.

Birkemoe was born in Italy and grew up in Sweden, and is fluent in five languages. She is a graduate of the Film and Television program at the University of California, Los Angeles.
